The United States has a diverse climate and that leads to different golfing schedules depending on the part of the country.

The northern part of the United States has a season from April to October, and some rare cases of weather can have them playing in March or November. Golfing season in the Central and Midwest part of the USA have the same seasons, except they have a pretty good chance of getting to play in March and November.
When you are talking about the southern states in the USA such as Texas, Arizona, and Florida, golf season is basically year-round in mild years. Sometimes, January and December are not playable if it is too cold for natives.
That is the general breakdown for the United States and when golf season is, and those months can certainly fluctuate.
When is Golf Season in Canada?
Canada has the same climate as the northern states in the USA, and some of the northern parts of Canada are much colder and do not have the same popularity for golf. In parts of Canada where golf is very popular, you can expect the normal golfers season to be March/April to November. (source)
Keep in mind that just because golf season is open does not mean that it will be fit to play. There are definitely years where golf is not able to be played in March in some areas due to not suitable weather!
When is Golf Season in Europe?
Europe also has a very diverse golfing season depending on the area, just like the United States.
The seasons are actually spot on with the United States in most cases. The northern part of Europe has about the same season as the northern United States, and so on.
The typical March to October period is pretty normal for golf, and there are certainly minor changes each year depending on what kind of weather is happening and if it is mild or severe.
When is Golfing Season in New Zealand and Australia?
Other parts of the world that love to golf are people in New Zealand and Australia.
Their golf season is typically for September to May. In certain areas, you can actually play year-round if you can stand the heat.
It all depends on what area of Australia that you are going to play, and you should definitely do your own due diligence before playing there and deciding what time of the year to go.
When is The Golfing Season in South Africa?
The last area of the world that I am going to mention is South Africa.
South Africa has a large part of the population that enjoys golf, and they play pretty much year-round.
Like the section above mentioned with New Zealand, most locals say that the best time of the year to play is September to May.
