Srixon is a Japanese golfing brand, the fourth largest global golfing brand, with a registered trademark owned and operated by the specialized sports equipment manufacturer, SRI Sports Limited. SRI sports are a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, part of the Sumito Group founded back in 1615.
Several professional golfers represent SRIXON on all professional tours such as the PGA Tour including major winners Hideki Matsuyama and Shane Lowry.
The large range of popular Srixon golf balls is manufactured in Srixon’s ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Japan. In addition to the golf ball manufacturing plant, Srixon produces golf clubs at a variety of locations throughout Asia as well as the USA. With more than 500 professional victories since the introduction of the Z-Series Golf Balls in 2008, Srixon golf balls are only topped by Titleist, manufacturer of Pro V1 golf balls.

Moderate swing speed players should benefit from full swing shots due to the low compression core producing high launch, low spin when compared to most multilayer urethane-covered golf balls used by professional golfers.
Q-Star Divide
Srixon Q Star Tour Divide golf ball is designed to offer visual feedback through its two-tone half-and-half cover, making it easy to see how it spins and whether the ball is struck accurately on the putting green.
All of the thermoplastic urethane cover is infused with bright pigments for permanent color that won’t scratch or tear. In addition, the premium urethane increases the spin rate for control around the greens.
Speed off the tee is gained through the mid-layer while the FastLayer core offers increased distance and a softer feel comparable to Tour preferred golf balls.
It is a 3-piece construction covered by a urethane cover with 338 dimples. At a compression rating of 72, it can be considered a mid-compression golf ball.
Z-Star and Z-Star XV
At the top of the range, you will find the latest 2021 versions, the seventh generation of the Srixon Z-Star XV and Z-star XV golf balls that have attracted a huge following on the professional tours for their soft feel around the greens and distance off the tee. I have been playing the Z-Star for a couple of years and in my experience, it offers the softest feel of all the premium golf balls.
Srixon’s Z-Star is a three-piece ball that is ideal for golfers with a swing speed between 88 mph and 108 mph. the special Srixon’s ‘Spin Skin’ cover offers a tremendous feel and spin on and around the green while the Energetic Gradient Growth core provides straight and long shots off the tee. The urethane cover, 0.1 mm thicker than the sixth generation, provides optimal greenside control.
Srixon Z-Star XV differs slightly from the Z-Star in that it is a 4-piece golf ball that is firmer than the Z-Star and is designed for a mid-to-high ball flight compared to the Z-Star’s for a mid-height flight. It also produces low driver spin and more greenside spin.
