Having won two major championships and several other tournaments, Justin Thomas has cemented his place in golf history as one of the best to have ever played the game.
This success enabled him to land a ‘club and ball’ partnership with the all-American golf brand, Titleist. In addition, he also has a footwear deal with one of the best golf shoe brands, Footjoy, and a Greyson clothing sponsorship.

Justin Thomas’ Driver: Titleist TSi3
Justin Thomas’ bag starts with his driver. He hasn’t changed from using the Mitsubishi Diamana ZF as his shaft for a long period of time, even then, he has had quite a few changes in the kind of drive slot he uses.
More recently he opted for the TSi3 and did so immediately when they were released back in 2020. Previously, he used the TS3 and experimented with the TSi2 before settling on the TSi3. It will be interesting to see if he sticks with this driver going forward.
The TSi3 is made with strong aerodynamic titanium metal and comes equipped with five adjustable positions that alter the driver’s center of gravity. Its stout shape and advanced aerodynamics give the player’s hand a better feel with a boost on the club head speed and distance.
Specs
- Loft: options 8º, 9º, 10º, and 11º
- Mitsubishi Diamana ZF 60 TX shaft
- 460cc head size
- Men’s standard length 45.5”
- Women’s standard length 44.5”
Justin Thomas’ 3 Wood: Titleist TS3
For Justin Thomas’ woods, he chooses to stay with the traditional older TS3 clubs for the 3 wood. After testing out the TSi fairway woods when they were released in 2020, he realized he hit the 3 wood farther than he wanted. He could control the ball’s speed and distance with a high MOI and thinner face on the TS3.
Specs
- Loft: options 8.5º, 9.5º, and 10.5º
- Mitsubishi AV Raw Blue 85 TX
- Men’s standard length 45.5”
- Women’s standard length 44.5”
Justin Thomas’ 5 Wood: Titleist 915FD
While some other professional players have added a 7 wood to their collection, Thomas has stuck with the Titleist 915FD 5 wood since 2016. This is even older than his 3 wood. He couples it up with a Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 9.2 Tour Spec X shaft. While Justin claims he could use this off the tee, he prefers to use it in par fives or in 250-260 yardages.
Specs
- Loft: options 13.5º, 15º, and 18º
- Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 9.2 Tour Spec X
- Men’s standard length 43”
- Swing weight D2
Justin Thomas’ Irons: Titleist T100, Titleist 620 MB
As we continue our WITB with Justin Thomas, we’ll cover his irons. For a little more forgiveness and versatility while on the course, Justin uses the 4 iron T100 irons series, then transitions into the 620MB. The 620MB irons go from 5-9 iron. The T100 is built around a three Ds concept that is:
- Distance
- Descent
- Dispersion
This is a result of the research carried out by the Titleist team to create a product better than its predecessor.
He uses True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X10 shafts for his irons.
Justin Thomas’ Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks, Vokey Design SM9
For his pitch, sand, and gap wedges, Thomas uses three Vokey Design SM9s. A lot of the design incorporations that were added to these clubs resulted from Justin’s feedback. He stated that the clubs’ sole, bounce, and grind enabled him to connect better to the ground. He uses these first three clubs with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts.
He uses Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks club with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 Shaft for his lob wedge.
Justin Thomas Putter: Scotty Cameron Phantom X5.5
To wrap up what clubs Justin Thomas’ uses, we’ll cover his putter. Having previously held the no.1 golf rank, I think it’s pretty safe to say that Justin is a pretty good putter. For his putting, Justin uses the prototype Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 tour. He finds that as the lie angle on the shaft creates an arc, this works well with his preference for an open-closed stroke.
Justin Thomas’ Golf Balls: Titleist Pro V1x
Being a good low ball hitter, Justin benefits from using the Titleist Pro V1X ball. Many more professional golfers also use this ball. The Pro V1X is particularly favorable when playing in windy conditions with its long game strong ball flights.
Justin Thomas’ Grips: Golf Tour Velvet Tour Cords and Superstroke Pistol GT Tour
For his irons, wedges, and woods, Justin uses the Golf Tour Velvet Tour Cord. Within the rubber grip, there is a bushed cord allowing Justin to use his clubs in all weather conditions and environments. As his putter is custom made, it comes with its unique Superstroke Pistol GT tour grip design.
Justin Thomas’ Shoes: Footjoy Golf Shoes
Footjoy is arguably the best golf shoe brand ever, so it should be no surprise that multiple professional golfers sport their shoes. In the most recent tournaments, Justin has worn three different types of shoes from the brand:
- The spiked Tarlow
- The spikeless Flint
- The spiked Packard
Justin Thomas’ Apparel
Although he was previously sponsored by Ralph Lauren, Justin recently signed a brand partnership deal with Greyson Clothiers.
Justin Thomas’ golf bag changes but will always be a Titleist bag while he remains sponsored by them.
